We have just had a meeting with our developers regarding issues experienced by iPad users.
We would recommend using Windows devices whenever possible. However, if the school is using iPads, please have pupils log out of the test between completing Part A and beginning Part B. Issues seem to occur when the iPads enter rest mode while the test is logged in between parts.

DOTS is currently operating as expected, though some schools have reported instances of users losing time in Part B of the test.
​
Platform updates were successfully applied. Schools may now proceed with testing as normal.
Please be aware that the Teacher Monitor feature may be less responsive than usual. Our team is actively monitoring the situation and working to improve performance.

If you have already requested additional time for a student’s test, you should have received confirmation to continue. If you have not received conformation please contact us on dots@erc.ie.
